Nissans class-leading Navara has been further enhanced with an eco-friendly Euro 6 engine and more spec.
The new Euro 6 engine applies to the 190PS twin-turbo and 160PS single turbo versions of the 2.3-litre dCi diesel engines. CO2 emissions have been reduced to 159 g/km which is 8g/km less than the previous Euro 5 engine.
Fuel consumption also sees an improvement with official figures claiming a 1.4mpg increase to 46.3mpg.
The Euro 6 engine features a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system which reduces oxides of nitrogen. There’s an addition of an AdBlue tank which can be filled from pumps or bottles. The AdBlue system is integrated into the Navara’s colour LCD combimeter.
This enhanced spec sees Idle-Stop System (ISS) standard on all Navara manual models. Other standard spec includes a colour combimeter, bluetooth, multi-function controls on the steering wheel and cruise control.
Gross vehicle weight has increased 25-35 kg and kerb weight has increased 5-38 kg, each figures depends on the model.
The Navara is also available with Around View Monitor (AVM) camera system along with Forward Emergency Braking (FEB). These systems are also seen on the Juke, Qashqai and X-Trail.
