The Volkswagen Arteon is now available to order from £34,305 OTR.
Arteon replaces the CC and sits above the Passat and provides more space, more tech and more autonomy features.
Slick aerodynamic design has allowed the Arteon to achieve a lower CO2 figure but is also capable of creating downforce allowing a confident drive.
The Arteon will first come with a 280 PS 2.0 TSI petrol engine and two 2.0 TDI diesel engines with choice of 240 PS and 150 PS outputs.
Two engines will eventually be released which are a 150 PS 1.5 TSI petrol Evo engine and a 190 PS 2.0 TSI petrol engine.
The 280 PS 2.0 TSI and 240 PS 2.0 TDI will come with 4MOTION all-wheel drive as standard.
Volkswagen Arteon will do 0-62 mph in 5.4 seconds with the 2.0 TSI 280 PS engine and the 2.0 TDI 150 PS engine can achieve 62.8 mpg.
The Arteon will be offered in two trim levels – ‘Elegance’ or ‘R-Line’.
Spec as standard include 8” touchscreen with Discover Navigation system, 8 speaker sound system, Bluetooth audio and telephone connectivity, Volkswagen Media Control, 2.3” Active Info Display, 18” alloys and Nappa leather upholstery amongst many others.
Arteon will also come with a wide range of safety systems including Adaptive Cruise Control, City Emergency Braking, Front Assist, Speed Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Assist and Driver Alert fatigue warning system.
The Volkswagen Arteon is expected in Volkswagen dealers next month.
